Alexandra Gentile
Thank you for stoping by my educational page. I would like to introduce myself and explain a little about my journey in education. My name is Alexandra Gentile, and I am from Switzerland. My mother is Cuban/ American and my father is Italian. I was born in Miami, Fl. but my family quickly moved to Europe after I was born. During my school years I always wanted to be a teacher. I speak 4 languages (English, German, Italian and Spanish) and therefore was always interested in being a language teacher. As I realized how much I love children, and have a calling for the younger community I decided to go towards elementary education in college. I am a current UNC Charlotte Student, enrolled into the College of Education. My two favorite things to do outside of school are photography and traveling. I have learned so much from traveling, and living within other cultures throughout life. It is very important for students to understand that each and everyone of us come from different backgrounds and therefore all have differences in our unique ways.
Throughout my educational journey I have taught Bible School at Church, and I grew up babysitting or being a Nanny for two small girls. You can say, if I'm not in the gym working out, taking pictures or traveling around the world, I am with a child playing outside learning something new.
